In Western Australia, there are more than
70 national parks and marine parks, and countless State forest
recreation sites, covering an area of more than 20 million
hectares. These are managed by CALM for the enjoyment of
Western Australians and the thousands of visitors that come
here each year.
Although a few remote parks have little in
the way of facilities, the vast majority of parks and recreation
sites throughout the State have picnic areas, walktrails
or other attractions, as well as basic facilities such as
water and toilets.
By selecting one of the regions below, you
can see a regional map of the main National Parks, MarineParksand
recreation areas. Alternatively, you might like to use CALM
ParkFinder, our searchable database of parks and recreation
areas.
